From the Corporate Grind to the Coffee Grind
From Digital Leader to Coffee Dreamer
Before creating this brand, I built my career in digital product management, leading teams and launching new products and services for Fortune 50 companies. I was always the innovator and change agent, pushing boundaries to develop shopping solutions and digital experiences used by millions of people.
It was exciting, rewarding work — but at times I felt frustrated. Bureaucracy slowed things down, and I couldn’t always move with the speed and creativity I craved. I knew I was capable of more. I wanted to build something of my own: bold, personal, and joyful.
The Tamarindo Epiphany
That realization hit me during a trip to Tamarindo, Costa Rica. For the first time in years, I felt completely disconnected from the daily grind and fully at ease. I slowed down, soaked in the rhythm of the ocean, and truly understood what pura vida means.
One evening, while watching the Olympics, I was struck by the dedication and drive of athletes chasing greatness. It made me ask myself: Was I truly reaching my potential in the corporate world? Despite the stability and success of my career, I knew the answer. I was meant to do something bigger. That night, I decided it was time to go after my dreams.
Why Coffee?
Coffee has always been my obsession — but every time I reached for a ready-to-drink option, I felt disappointed. They were too chalky, too sweet, too artificial. Nothing captured the bold, indulgent coffee experience I wanted.
So I decided to mix it up. To create a brand that celebrated coffee the way I experienced it during my years living abroad and traveling the world: bold, flavorful, fun, and inspired by the little indulgences that make life sweet.
The LIXMIX Way
LIXMIX was born from that vision: petite, chic cans filled with premium espresso and globally inspired flavors — a mini indulgence you can enjoy anywhere, anytime.
For me, it’s about more than coffee. It’s about savoring life’s little moments, celebrating creativity, and inviting you to sip along with me on this journey.
